Save St. Hubert

We are a parent, teacher, alumni and parishioner coalition seeking answers about the recent announcement to close our school St. Hubert Catholic School. We have submitted a formal request to Cardinal Cupich asking for transparency regarding our school's finances and reversal of the decision. Many questions remain about why money was taken from a restricted fund for school infrastructure, why a cost-benefit analysis of supporting versus closing the school has not been made public, why tuition discounts were eliminated dropping enrollment, why the school's deficit was hugely inflated, and why a promised five-year plan has not been provided. School and parish families alike want answers to these questions. We have also engaged a forensic accountant and certified fraud examiner who prepared the financial analysis of our school demonstrating that we are financially viable. See documents below:
